PRINCIPLES OF DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING.


Parts damaged1. Check that it is safe to get into the machine.

2. Think before you act, talk to the machine operator.

3. Look at the manual (electric hydraulic planes, etc..) Learn.

4. Visually inspect the machine.

5. Operate the machine.

6. Check power inputs (220 V, steam accumulators).

7. Isolate Glossary Link hydraulic circuit lines.

8. Identify problems:

Actuators that are not moving.

Erratic movement, slow- Glossary Link cylinder movement.

9. Connect the problems with cause:

Low pressure.

Low flow.

Erratic operation component.

10. Reach conclusions.

11. Test your conclusions.

12. Report your accomplishments.

13. Repair or replace components that are having problems.

 

PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE POSIBLE SOLUTION
The Glossary Link pump is too noisy Air is entering into the suction pipes.

1. Install a Glossary Link vacuum gauge. if it indicates zero psi,

There is an air intake.

2. Replace the pump shaft retainer seal.
3. Verify the oil level in the Glossary Link reservoir.
4. Look for pump's case cracks.
5.

Retighten the suction pipe. replace damaged elements
